Te Kaunihera Hanganga Tautaiao | The New Zealand Green Building Council (NZGBC) is a not-for-profit industry organisation dedicated to improving the sustainability and performance of the built environment. It represents developers, designers, engineers, product suppliers and property owners committed to reducing environmental impact and improving building performance.

NZGBC develops rating tools such as Green Star and Homestar, and provides policy submissions on climate, building standards and energy performance. Its work supports a future where buildings are healthier, more efficient and aligned with New Zealand’s climate goals.
